Our mission at Aframeposter is to minimize environmental impact while ensuring that workers throughout our supply chain are fairly compensated and operate under conditions that comply with ILO conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Aframeposter is dedicated to enhancing transparency and traceability across the entire supply chain. We are committed to openly sharing every step of our production process, allowing everyone to understand how and where our products are made and their journey to the consumer’s door.

We recognize the importance of offering sustainably made products, which includes using sustainable materials. To us, sustainable materials mean products certified by highly respected standards, such as the FSC® certificate, while meeting our stringent quality requirements to ensure they can be enjoyed for years to come.

At Aframeposter, we understand the importance of using sustainable materials and acknowledge that we still have progress to make in this area. Since wood is the primary raw material for our prints , we prioritize FSC® certification as the most crucial standard for ensuring responsible sourcing.

All Aframeposter prints are produced at the same factory, located just a few kilometers from our warehouse. We use MultiDesign® paper, a high-white, premium, wood-free paper. “Wood-free” means the wood pulp has been bleached, leaving no yellow lignin behind.

Our paper is 269g/m², providing superior quality, enhanced printing results, and greater durability thanks to its thickness.

All our prints are FSC® MIX certified, carry the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, and are Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF).

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is a global, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forest management around the world. FSC® establishes standards based on agreed principles for responsible forest stewardship, supported by environmental, social, and economic stakeholders. FSC® ensures the protection of forests, as well as the people and wildlife that depend on them.

Since many of our products at Aframeposter are made from wood, having FSC® certified products is essential to our commitment to sustainability. More importantly, when you choose FSC® certified products, you are supporting the responsible management of the world’s forests.

We are proud to hold the FSC® trademark, allowing us to correctly promote our FSC® certified products. The FSC® label guarantees that the materials used in our FSC® certified products have been responsibly sourced.

There are three types of FSC® labels:

• FSC® MIX: Indicates that the product is made from a combination of materials from well-managed FSC® certified forests, recycled materials, and other controlled sources.
• FSC® 100%: Ensures that the wood has been harvested in a way that benefits communities, wildlife, and the environment.
• FSC® Recycled: Certifies that the forest-based material in the product is entirely recycled.

To ensure our products are made under fair and ethical working conditions, we established our code of conduct – The Aframeposter Code of Conduct.

Our code of conduct is rooted in the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

The Aframeposter Code of Conduct outlines the minimum sustainability and ethical requirements that all business partners collaborating with Aframeposter must meet and agree to. This code reflects Aframeposter’s dedication to being recognized as a sustainable, transparent, and trusted company throughout our entire supply chain. It provides the foundation for our decision-making process to ensure responsible sourcing of our products.

We recognize that the most significant social risks involve working conditions. That’s why we are committed to ensuring that the factories we work with uphold fair working standards, including reasonable working hours, payment of at least minimum wages, and the right to freedom of association.

The Aframeposter Code of Conduct consists of 11 principles designed to guarantee fair and ethical working conditions. Below is a summary of these principles.
